Hello again!
We wanted to keep you all in the loop as to the goings on here in the Squaw Valley Terrain Park world. The crew has been working hard in the shop to turn out some new features for your shredding enjoyment. We think you will like what we have got for you. Opening day is tomorrow, which is almost a week early and the is kind of a big deal. There will be a box out in SnoVentures for the little guys and beginners and more to come as the snow piles up. With this storm on our tail, hopefully we will be on the upper mountain in Belmont before you know it. Other BIG NEWS of the day is that we are very excited to welcome Pat Moore to the Squaw Valley/ Alpine Meadows Team! We feel that he is a great fit for out program and we are looking forward to working with him.
As brilliant blue skies and warm temperatures return to the Sierras, Squaw Valley prepares to open for summer 2013. This summer brings a variety of outdoor activities including base area paintball, roller skating, geocaching, disc golf, hiking, scenic Aerial Tram rides and the High Camp Pool and Hot Tub. With incredible views of Lake Tahoe in a pristine alpine setting, Squaw Valley is the ultimate destination for this summer's big adventures.
Thanks for joining us this season. The highlights were many. From an opening day in October to the US Alpine Championships. We've put a few of our favorite moments together in the video above. We hope you'll enjoy reliving some of the season. We'll miss skiing and riding but will content ourselves with hiking, biking, Lake Tahoe, golf, kayaking, and enjoying these majestic mountains. What will you do as you wait for the first snowflakes of next winter?

The 23rd Annual Cushing Crossing will be the best event of the spring season. The original pond skimming event that started a spring resort ritual. Every year we gather a celebrity judging panel and amazing emcee's for this spectacle. Filled with big spills and laughable thrills this is one spring event that you don't want to miss.
Registration for this event is $20 and is limited to 50 entrants. Lift ticket not required for entry.
