The famous IRONMAN Triathlon has officially arrived in Lake Tahoe. Everywhere you look there are throngs of incredible athletes running, biking and swimming all to prepare for arguably the world's best triathlon.

It’s the weekend (cheering, fist pumping, raise the roof arms)! You’ve earned your Saturday and Sunday. Give yourself a pat on the back. The first thought that runs through your mind? What am I going to do? Enjoying yourself should be your first priority. Lake Tahoe is where you can do just that and have some fun on the side.

It’s the heat of the summer and if you haven’t yet been to Squaw Valley for a summer adventure, you’re likely (hopefully) planning your Lake Tahoe vacation, now. Squaw literally has as many fun activities to try during the warm months as it does during the ski season.

Having opened its summer doors this past Memorial Day Weekend, Rocker@Squaw has revamped its menu for Summer 2013.

Who doesn’t love it when the ground starts to dry, the air feels warm, and green starts sprouting up everywhere? That’s what it’s like right now at Squaw Valley. While we’ve got some cool days when the wind whips up out of the east, most days it’s glorious out. The sun just feels so good!

October is upon us and has brought shorter days and cooler temps. We even saw frost on the ground the other day. Before the snow flies, I thought I'd share some photos of summer. I was going through our Instagram account and searching through hash tags and it had me feeling nostalgic about our long, fun summer at Squaw.

So here we are, entering September, and what are we thinking of? Not the hikes still on our list, or the sun bathing to be had, but winter. As the ski and snowboard movie premiere dates are announced and the season down in the southern hemisphere is coming to a close, who can help it?

The biggest summer event at Squaw Valley is back for round 4. This year is packed with all of the essential ingredients: yoga, music, wellness, fresh eats and speakeasies. The mission of Wanderlust is simple- mindful living equals a healthy life.

Squaw Valley is home to some of the most spectacular views in Lake Tahoe, with 6 peak and Lake views that are certain to steal your breath away! But did you know that Squaw has several extraordinary wedding venues that are sure to make your day magical.

Boats and sundresses are again ubiquitous as sweet summer is upon us! Winter 2010-2011 was a record-breaker but left our valley’s wonderful foliage little time to grow.
