No big changes to the forecast since the last post, still on track for much colder air and snow arriving by Thursday afternoon.
No big changes to the forecast since the last post, still on track for much colder air and snow arriving by Thursday afternoon.
Some good news this week as we look forward to finally getting a little fresh snow. The sun and mild temperatures will persist through Wednesday before the change.
We are seeing some clouds this morning but we should see more sun this afternoon with highs in the 40's. The weather continues to be sunny, dry, and mild through Wednesday.
Lots of sun and highs in the 40's through next Wednesday.
Relatively warm out this morning in the mid 20's. We are going to to be stuck on repeat for the next week with sun and highs in the 40's. If you like soft snow and warm sun it will be great weather. If you lives for storms like I do it will be a little boring.
We picked up an inch of snow on Sunday as the storm really didn't produce much precip as it reached the Tahoe Basin. That brings the 5 day total up to 3 inches. We will start the week cold today with highs not breaking the freezing mark. Then as the ridge of high pressure builds in off the coast we will warm into the 40s with lots of sunshine
Snow levels have come down to lake level this morning but the moisture has stopped ahead of the approaching cold front.
With a moist and mild flow from off the Southern CA coast we have see some light rain showers with snow levels up above 8000 ft. over the past 24 hours.
A much warmer morning with the South winds finally pushing out the colder air. It was 29 degrees this morning at the base and in the 40's up top. We will have increasing clouds today as the cold front approaches.
