A little suprise this morning of a fresh inch of snow. We were only expecting up to a dusting from the weak short wave moving through this morning.  That brings the 3 day total to 7 inches.  If only that could be our luck with the bigger storms.

We picked up another 5 inches on the mountain yesterday bringing the storm total to 6 inches.  The skiing was really good yesterday and will be again today.

The low tracked straight down the coast fooling every forecast model and forecaster yesterday.  But we will take snow no matter how much falls.

We picked up an inch of snow from the dry cold front that moved through overnight. That was right in line with what we were thinking. The main low pressure center is moving South into Northern CA this morning and headed our way.

No changes this morning. Expecting light snow as early as tonight but the heaviest snow will be Tuesday, with snow showers lingering through Tuesday night.  Sticking with the forecast of 6-12 inches for the base, and 12-18 inches on the mountain.

Spring skiing again today along with lots of soft snow on the mountain.

Good Friday Morning to you. Hope you all had fun yesterday. Today and tomorrow we are going to get some of the warmest weather of the Winter with highs into the 50's and abundant sunshine.

If you love warm and sunny skiing get out there on Friday and Saturday as we will see temps into the 50's in a lot of areas. It is ahead of a big pattern shift we have been waiting for and forecasting to come after mid-month. There will be a system on Sunday that will move into the Pacific NW and will help to flatten the ridge over the West.

Tomorrow we will be in the 5 day range of the first storm of what will hopefully be many starting next week. That is the range I will usually start to consider talking about possible snowfall amounts with the storms.

After another cold day today the temperatures will be on the rise up into the 40's starting tomorrow and then the 50's by the end of the week, with plenty of sunshine.  That is due to the ridge of high pressure that is going to be sitting along the West Coast through Saturday.

Cold air is around through Monday before the trough kicks East and the ridge builds in along the West Coast this week. Tue-Thu the temps warm into the 40's and then maybe the 50's by Friday and Saturday.
