The Wanderlust Yoga Studio at Squaw Valley Offers a Week of Preparatory Yoga Classes Leading Up to IRONMAN Lake Tahoe
With Squaw Valley as the epicenter of activity for IRONMAN Lake Tahoe on September 22, Squaw’s Wanderlust Yoga Studio offers a week of specialized yoga classes at discounted rates leading up to the event
[Olympic Valley, Calif.] September 10, 2013 - In honor of IRONMAN Lake Tahoe, The Wanderlust Yoga Studio at Squaw Valley is offering a week of preparatory yoga to open the athletic body. The classes are specifically designed to empower the strength of the mind and elevate the spirit. The classes are open to IRONMAN triathletes as well as anyone else who loves to be active.
The preparatory classes will be offered from Monday, September 16 through Friday, September 20 from 8:45-9:45 a.m. These classes are $10 for drop-ins or $45 for the five-class series.
As this yoga series is offered in celebration of the IRONMAN Lake Tahoe, this five-class series costs $25 less than a normal five-class pack, and the drop-in rate represents a $7 savings over normal drop-in rates at The Wanderlust Yoga Studio at Squaw Valley.
Come September 22, Squaw Valley will serve as the epicenter of activity for IRONMAN Lake Tahoe, with both the second transition and the finish being held at the resort. The Village at Squaw Valley will offer a great location for spectators for those wishing to watch the world-class event.
Prep Week Class Descriptions:
Monday, Sept. 16: Simply Stretch. Yoga specifically sequenced for athletes for greater strength, fluid range of motion and optimal health.
Tuesday, Sept. 17: Endure. Strengthen the body and the mind to move through boundaries into the realm of boundless possibility.
Wednesday, Sept. 18: Revitalize. A series of inversions and restorative poses designed to revitalize all of your systems, leaving you feeling refreshed and strong.
Thursday, Sept 19: Inspire. Tap into your fullness, your hips and your highest aspirations. Uncover the vision and rise to the occasion time and again, body, mind and whole heart.
Friday, Sept. 20: Envision. Meditation practice geared to help you use the power of your mind and the power of visualization to accomplish anything, no matter how daunting the task may seem.
