[Olympic Valley, Calif.] July 2, 2012 – July brings an incredible variety of music, wine and family festivals to Squaw Valley.  See below for a complete listing of events at Squaw Valley this July.

Tuesday, July 3; 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Bluesdays with Chris Cain
Kick off July with the summer’s first Bluesdays featuring masters of the blues guitar Chris Cain. During the day, guests can enjoy all that High Camp has to offer including great tram discounts ($10 off adult tickets, $5 off kid, youth and senior tickets). Come evening, enjoy a free concert in The Village with Chris Cain along with great deals on food and drinks from local vendors. Bluesdays are held every Tuesday in July and August. Free Outdoor Movie Series featuring “Kung Fu Panda”
Snuggle up under the stars while enjoying Jack Black in “Kung Fu Panda” on the big screen in the Events Plaza at The Village at Squaw Valley. Blankets and warm clothes are recommended. Free outdoor movie nights are hosted every Thursday in July and August. Click here for details.

Free KT Tribute Band Concert Series featuring JOEL
Fresh off of the national tour of Billy Joel's Tony award-winning rock musical “Movin' Out”, JOEL is bringing Billy Joel’s timeless classics and original works to Squaw Valley’s Village stage. The KT Concert Series brings amazing cover bands to Squaw on the first Friday of July, August and September. Click here for details.

Village Trail Run at Squaw
Run to Squaw Creek, back over to Red Dog via Western States Trail via a 5K or 10K trail. Race starts at the East end of The Village at Squaw Valley. Registration 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Click here for details.

Soaring Kites and Music Festival at High Camp
Squaw Valley’s 11th annual Soaring Kites and Music Festival will feature kite flying demonstrations, kids kite building seminars, and general kite mania, featuring great live music at High Camp.  Watch professional kiters fly their amazing kites in the High Camp breeze. Click here for details.

Free Brett Dennen Concert
Celebrate the weekend after the 4th of July with a free concert by Brett Dennen, singer of last year’s hit song Comeback Kid (That’s My Dog). Squaw Valley Institute Presents Inspring, Uncommon Conversations with JT Holmes
JT Holmes will showcase how he cared out his unique career in skiing, base jumping and speedflying, how he assesses risks, and how parents can adapt to thier own little daredevils. Art, Wine & Classical Guitar Music Festival
The Village at Squaw Valley will burst with color, taste and sound as fine artists, crafts makers and classical guitar musicians from all over the world participate in this event.  Wine Tasting is offered for $25 daily from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.  and includes a commemorative wine glass. Yeehaw cowpokes! The Wild West corral will be filled with all sorts of western-style fun at High Camp including live music both days by Forget the Roses. Pony rides, the petting zoo and live music are all free with an Aerial Tram ticket.
