Not too many changes to the forecast today. The next system moves through Wednesday night into Thursday and then the final system Saturday afternoon into Saturday night.
Looking at all of the forecast models it looks like a coating to an inch of snow possible on the mountain Wednesday night into Thursday.
For Saturday night the European forecast model has a general 1-3 inches across basin. The GFS forecast model has 1-3 inches on the West side of the basin, but It also shows potentially another inch or two up top.
After that the ridge of high pressure builds in along the West Coast again with another week of dry conditions. The long-range models are split beyond the 20th. The GFS and Canadian forecast models show the possibility of the ridge shifting into the upper Midwest and Central Canada with a large area of low pressure off the CA coast sending in storms to CA. The European forecast model shows the ridge holding strong along the West Coast.
