[Olympic Valley, Calif.] January 23, 2014 - In celebration of the upcoming Winter Games in Sochi, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows will give away one pair of HEAD Skis or one HEAD Snowboard each day of the Winter Games, Feb. 6-23 (18 days total), as part of the Sochi Daily Giveaway. Participants can enter to win now on Squaw Valley’s Facebook page, and can submit an entry once per day. The ski and snowboard sweepstakes are open to the public. Winners will be announced daily.

Winter Games Viewing Parties
In addition to the ski and snowboard sweepstakes, Squaw Valley will also host Winter Games Viewing Parties Feb. 8-18 and Feb. 21 at Rocker@Squaw. The viewing parties will offer patrons the opportunity to cheer on Team USA alongside fellow fans. Prizes will be raffled each night, including GoPros, yoga passes and more. Guests will receive a free raffle ticket upon entry to the viewing parties at Rocker@Squaw. The raffle ticket is valid for the raffle prizes only, and is separate from the ski and snowboard sweepstakes. For full details, visit Squaw.com.

Celebrating Local Athletes
Rocker@Squaw's viewing parties are the perfect way for the community to come together to support Team USA, which includes local athletes from Squaw Valley and the Tahoe region. Squaw Valley athletes, Julia Mancuso, Travis Ganong and Nate Holland are each representing Team USA in their respective fields. Marco Sullivan, who is also a Squaw Valley athlete, is vying for a spot on Team USA; he will learn his fate this Sunday, Jan. 26.
