After receiving over two feet of fresh snow in the past week, the skiing and riding has been fantastic at Squaw Valley. The groomers have been fun with fresh corduroy to enjoy on Gold Coast, Red Dog, Squaw Creek, lower Exhibition and now Mountain Run. Cold temperatures have kept the mountain covered in white, while allowing our snowmakers to keep doing what they do best- blowing more snow!
Looking ahead, the forecast calls for sunny skies and temps creeping into the 40s later in the week, while staying cold at night with lows in the teens. If you’re headed out on the mountain, bring an extra layer for morning riding but don’t forget the sunscreen for sunny afternoons!
Pssst…Alpine Meadows opens on Friday (December 13). We hope to see you out there!
