Where and How We've Given

To date in 2012, we've contributed over $250,000 in monetary and in-kind donations. We focus our giving on organizations that enhance the quality of life in our communities, with special emphasis on youth education, ski & snowboard programs, environmental programs, animal protection and community well being.

Last winter season we partnered with SkiDUCK to bring 735 underprivileged and at-risk youth and 277 chaperones the resort.

We also worked with the Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe to raise money for their shelter building campaign through sponsorship of:

• Black Ties and Tails Gala
• Bucks for Barks
• Auctioning the very first Tahoe Super Pass with proceeds going to HSTT

We raised over $11,000 for Project MANA, a Truckee/North Lake Tahoe hunger relief organization by waging a "Food Fight". Squaw and Alpine each donated $500 to start the food fight and then we encouraged guests to participate by making their own Food Fight donations. All funds raised went directly to alleviating hunger in our community during the holiday season.

In addition to our contributions our teams are actively involved in the local community. Team members contribute their time and expertise to numerous community organizations like:

• Friends of Squaw Creek
• The Tahoe Fund
• Squaw Valley Institute

We believe that strengthening our community through philanthropy makes for a thriving, healthy, and well balanced town and resort destination. We encourage employees and guests alike to join us in our giving.
